Massachusetts Department of Fire Services &
Massachusetts Department of Public Health
have partnered together through a grant from
U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
to create a series of courses designed to
address emergency preparedness in the following
areas:
Incident Command
Hazardous Materials Awareness
Personal Protective Equipment and
Decontamination

Courses are being offered free of charge
-
Are taught by a team of Massachusetts
Firefighting Academy instructors together
with health care instructors
-
Are offered at hospitals or other public
health locations, fire stations, and
ambulance services
-
May be scheduled on-duty, weekends and/or
nights
