CPR and ACLS Training Requirements – Hands-On Skills Evaluation Component

  • The Emergency Medical Services System regulation, 105 CMR 170.00, requires that EMS personnel have current CPR credential in order to renew their certification and staff ambulances. The regulations require that such training include a hands-on skills evaluation component and that ambulance services check to ensure their EMS personnel have current valid credentials.

  • The attached advisory reminds ambulance services of these regulation requirements and to remind services of the need for valid credentials.
