The Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s updated EMS System regulations, 105 CMR 170.000, have been promulgated, and are effective today, 1/6/2023. Attached are the updated regulations.
Also attached please find Advisory 23-01-01, providing clarification about the timeline for implementation of ambulance transport of certain behavioral health emergency patients to Community Behavioral Health Centers (CBHCs).
